On joining the PDTI all members are classified as Supporters. Supporters may wish to take advantage of our grading system which awards points under five categories:

• PDTI Involvement
• Instructing Awards
• Instructing Experience
• Dog Ownership and Handling Skills
• Theory Certificates

Membership Grades on offer are:

• Affiliate (post-nominal letters are not permitted for this grade)
• Associate (APDTI)
• Licentiate (LPDTI)
• Professional (PPDTI)
• Fellow (FPDTI)

'Adv' following post-nominal letters indicate practical achievement of the PDTI Advanced Instructing Skills Award
